Reflect – Month 1
- Identify the “inner critic” voice and silence it so that it doesn’t hold you back
- Create a leadership SWOT that we will use as our guide so leading the team feels energizing instead of draining
- Optimize time-management so that leaders are spending more time on things that play to their strengths and things they want to do, rather than things they feel they “should” do
- Amp up communication in email, meeting management and in-person—so that people are inspired by the leaders' message and take action when they speak
Redefine – Month 2
- Define the leader you want to be
- Identify strengths, passions, values and creative outlets to hone a leadership style
- Create a mission statement and elevator pitch
- Be intentional about the new skills to learn in the coming year and incorporate learning opportunities into the work day
- Crystallize a plan to both manage up and lead direct reports that fits within the chosen leadership style identified strengths
Transform – Month 3
- Learn to lead knowing that everything is an opportunity, rather than from a place of fearing the unknown
- Discover an authentic networking style and begin cultivating relationships with advocates in the organization and beyond
- Role-play challenging conversations with leaders and direct-reports—so that leaders feel prepared to set boundaries AND also show they care
- Navigate the Performance Review process and frequent feedback conversations so that the team feels heard and supported
