CAREER COACH • BROOKLYN, NY

You’ve changed.
Your career can, too.

I help women step into work that fits their lives and lights them up.

1:1 COACHING PROGRAM
SELF-GUIDED COURSE

You want the life you want, but something's missing.

What do you need?

More time?
More money?
More agency?
More meaning?

Since you're here, I'm going to assume that your career (or lack thereof) is at least part of the problem. Maybe you've heard yourself say:

“Working these hours, there's no time for my actual life.”

"I need a job, but I'm not willing to settle."

“I’m missing moments at home that I can’t get back.”

“I want to make real impact.”

“The bro culture here is relentless, and I’m over it.”

“What if I make a change and things get worse?”

Before you can act, the voice in your head reminds you of the risk.

“Better just stay put.”

(Nice try, patriarchy.)

It’s not 2005 anymore. Careers don’t have to be corporate hoops (of misery) you jump through until you “arrive.”

They can be what you design. What you demand. What you create

RACHEL GARRETT, CAREER TRANSITION COACH

A woman with curly brown hair, wearing a purple patterned blouse and blue jeans, sitting on a red bench with white cushions, smiling in front of a colorful wall with red, purple, and white sections.

I’m Rachel, a Career Transition Coach, and I’ve been where you are. My career once felt… fine. Not bad, not thrilling. Just fine. I found myself thinking, “If only I had more control over my schedule,” or “I wish what I was doing actually made a difference in people’s lives.”

Those thoughts weren't complaints.

They were clues. The beginnings of a career that checked all my boxes. Thankfully, they led me here. Using the exact tools I now share with my clients, I could finally step into a role that felt like me. I’d be honored to help you do the same.

✱ IT'S IMPORTANT YOU KNOW ✱

I stand firm on supporting all women in their careers, and with that, I reject the following:

The patriarchy, white supremacy, racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, or any discrimination on sexual orientation or gender identity.

These are hard limits in my business; I will not waiver.

1:1 COACHING PROGRAM
MY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

What you can expect.

Through structured 1:1 coaching or a self-guided online course, we focus on:

Icon of a light bulb with rays of light emanating from it.

Inner Clarity

We dig past the “shoulds” to uncover your vision, strengths, and non-negotiables. (No weekends? No pay gaps? No assholes?)

A speech bubble icon with quotation marks inside.

Authentic Words

We find your story - words for your pitch, LinkedIn bio, and resume - so it captures your magic, rather than reducing you to bullet points.

A dart hitting the bullseye on a target.

Intentional Action

We identify three career paths, line up the right conversations, and take deliberate actions towards work that fills you and frees you.

The process gives you both things you need - the space to dream big and the tools to get hired. We'll do vision work and values, yes. And also audits, interview prep, and negotiations.

What clients are saying

  • After years in a comfortable but unfulfilling job, Rachel helped me build confidence, stay focused, and take consistent steps toward freelancing. Her support made my transition feel doable. I left on my terms, with a clear direction, real momentum, and the mindset to silence the doubt - especially the “too old” voice.

    — Jennifer

  • Rachel helped me turn loose ends into a clear, empowering story. Her warmth, structure, and support rebuilt my confidence and helped me redefine my strengths. I now feel more self-assured, motivated, and ready to take ownership of what’s next. She taught me how to advocate for myself again.

    — Emily

  • I knew my skills but couldn’t express them as one clear story. Rachel immediately understood me and helped shape language that truly fits. Now I confidently communicate my full value and opportunities are showing up without chasing them. My work is aligned, my startup is thriving, and new projects keep coming.

    — Lynn

  • Working with Rachel helped me unlock strength I thought I had already conquered. I remembered I’m still a warrior, battle-tested and capable. This experience not only challenged me in the best ways, it also gave me a crew I can count on. I’m deeply grateful our paths crossed.

    — Belinda
